CATS – Recruiting

Administer the Cybersecurity Concept Inventory in Your Intro Class

The Cybersecurity Assessment Tools (CATS) Project is seeking instructors to administer our online draft educational Cybersecurity Curriculum Assessment (CCA) in their intro cybersecurity classes.  We also seek experts to review the CCA.  With support from NSF and approval from UMBC’s IRB, we are performing large-scale validation of the CCA (1,000 students), which assesses students’ conceptual understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, for the purpose of measuring the effectiveness of educational approaches. The CATS project is joint work with UMBC, the University of Illinois, and University of Minnesota Duluth.
