Information Assurance Scholarship Program - Due February 7th, 2008
The Information Assurance Scholarship Program is a Department of Defense sponsored scholarship/fellowship program to promote the education, recruitment, and retention of rising junior and senior undergraduate and graduate students in information security (assurance) studies and of students seeking graduate certificates in information assurance disciplines.
Pending final approval, this highly selective program will allow up to twelve students full-ride scholarships to UMBC.

- Please turn your application in by 4pm on February 7th to Jane Gethman, ITE 325. Hand in application both in hardcopy format (submit one original plus two hard copies) and on read-only CDs (submit two CDs).
- The IASP Application requires the following:
- School transcripts
- SAT and GRE test scores if available
- Resume
- Personal Essay - This is a brief personal statement (about one page) describing your experience, motivation, and plans.
- Three academic references (one must be from current full-time UMBC professor)
