Error Correcting Codes - ENEE 624

Course Description

Fundamentals of error-correction coding theory: linear block and trellis codes, decoder structures, random and burst error detection and correction techniques, encoding/decoding performance and bounds, concatenated codes and interleaving structures, turbo and LDPC codes and iterative decoding concepts.

Prerequisites: ENEE 620 and ENEE 622 or ENEE 623, or consent of instructor.
