Cryptography and Data Security - CMSC 652

Course Description

Conventional and public-key cryptography. Selected cryptosystems, including DES and RSA. Digital Signatures, pseduo-random number generation, cryptographic protocols and cryptanalysis techniques. Applications of cryptography to e-commerce.

Prerequisites: CMSC 441 and MATH 221 or consent of instructor.
